Infrastructure- Trains 2 times faster than Bullets trains might come to India 

Yes you heard it right, trains 2 times faster than Bullets trains might come to India. Indian Railways is gearing up for to put on track, the next generation Maglev trains on Indian turfs. These trains could be faster than the bullet trains proposed between Mumbai-Ahmadabad corridor. To get maximum passenger foot fall, the Railways is planning to build this on the high traffic and congested routes of Delhi-Howrah, Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Chennai corridor. 

Telecom-Are the call drops bothering you? 

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology is seriously taking the call drop issue with companies like Airtel and Aircel. In the first week of January both the companies has been issued a notice for meeting and discussing the issue of call drops. This Panel has been headed by Anurag Thakur, who is also the Chairman of BCCI. TRAI has reported maximum call drops by Aircel for the quarter of April-June. The panel is also supposed to discuss service quality issue after the free calls scheme offered by Jio.

Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad recently expressed Central Government’s plans to extend BPO networks in small towns to boost economic development of these places. As per the plan, the Government will be providing Tax Exemptions to companies coming to smaller cities and towns to open their operations. The Government is taking serious steps to develop these deprived zones which are left behind in the race by a lot of places which are nearer to metros. 

Pharma- Find out which new company got investment from Sun Pharma

 In its latest buying spree Pharma giant Sun Pharma buys US-based scPharmaceuticals Inc. The deal is supposed to be worth 88 Crore i.e. USD 13 million appx. This mega deal is said to be done by Sun Pharma’s subsidiary in US and believed to strengthen its hold in US markets. The pharma giant has declared a stake of 14.6% in its newly invested company.
